Darhan is a large industrial city of 100,000 people located in northern Mongolia along the trans-Siberian railway. With the loss of Russian interests and unstable economy following the fall of the Soviet Union, nearly half of the industries in Darhan have been closed, resulting in an unemployment rate close to 35%.
Since 2001, Dr. Nghia Pham has been operating a health clinic out of the Darhan CAMA Project center. Today Dr. Pham, while training three other health-care workers, serves over 200 hundred patients per month at the stationary clinic and at four mobile clinics in areas where Alliance churches have been planted. The Clinic sets high standards for patient care, service and cleanliness - as well as excellence in training of new health care workers. The clinic works with short-term medical teams as a means of initial evangelism and a church planting tool. Every treated patient has the Gospel explained to them, and is prayed for. There is also the work of contuonus community develpoment projects which coincide with the work of the clinic. (Clean water, sanitary latrine, along with other health related projects.)

Short Term Medical Teams
Those who work in the medical profession are welcome to join the work of our clinic. There are always opportunities for physicians and health care workers of all specialities to partner with us in providing quality health care to folks in the Mongolian country-side. Your partnership with us will help to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the Mongolian people. Work Teams
There are needs that work teams might be able to provide. Work and repair at the CAMA Center in Darhan (where our clinic is housed) is always a need. We are also interested in talking to those who may specialize in well or latrine digging or would have knowledge of other ways we can serve Mongolian communities through health-care.
