About Us

Dennis was raised on a dairy farm in Elk Mound, Wisconsin. He sensed God’s call to full-time Christian service while in Viet Nam. Following discharge from the Marines, Dennis began his theological training at Canadian Bible College, where he graduated in 1976.

Marilyn grew up in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and sensed God’s call to missionary service while attending Canadian Bible College, graduating in 1975. God confirmed that call on her life while serving on Alliance Youth Corps in Colombia, South America.

We were married December 20, 1975 and served three years as a Pastor of Curtiss Alliance Church in Curtiss, Wisconsin. After completing the Master of Missiology Program at Canadian Theological Seminary, we were appointed to the Philippines in 1980, where we served in a variety of ministries, church planting, dorm parenting, in TEE (Theological Education by Extension), and the most recent being Field Director of the C&MA Philippine mission.

We were appointed as the new Field Director couple for the Mongolian Field in July 2005, and arrived on the field on August 31, 2005.
