Larry and Krista will be working with CAMA Services, and starting their language study soon after their arrival. The Lains have spent the past several years working with Hurricane Katrina victims in Baton Rough, Louisiana. Their experience helping those in need with compassion will be well used, as they now seek to show the compassion of Jesus to the people of Mongolia.

Jason is a graduate of Alliance Theological Seminary and has served as a youth pastor at the Bronx Cambodian Church and the One Life Church. Ruth was a special education teacher in New York.

The Lee family will be finishing up studying Second Language Acquisition at Wheaton College this month, and will be departing for Korea and Ulannbaatar soon thereafter. Upon arrival and settling into their apartment in the heart of the UB, they will both begin two years of language study. Ruth will also begin working in the CAMA field office as bookkeeper. The children will be attending the International School of Ulaanbaatar.

Be sure to check out the Lee’s website. They also have a lot of great photos of their family at Flickr.

We are excited to have the Lee family join our team. Post your comments and give them a warm welcome to Mongolia!

Ali is joining us from Perth, Australia. Lest you think this “new recruit” is green and inexperienced, Ali brings a lot of experience, talent and wisdom to our team. She has actually already served three terms with the C&MA in the Philippines. She has a Masters in linguistics and has worked at the Alliance Graduate School teaching English, English Grammar and research. She also worked with International Students.

Ali will be studying language for two years in Darhan, where she will be living with Kirsten Hewitt. We welcome Ali to our team and appreciate your prayers for her as she transitions onto the Mongolian field.

Welcome to Mongolia, Ali!
