A short term medical team from the Los Angeles Sarang Community Church lead by Dr. Joung Uoong Lee came to work with us for one week Sept 1 -7, 2008. This is the fifth time that Dr. Lee been to Mongolia. This team had one medical doctor, one acupuncturist, one nurse and 2 persons for children ministry and three for prayer ministry to the patients and general help. They worked for one day in Darhan, 2 days in Jargalant , and one day in Erdenet.

The team saw about 300 patients and prayed for each. 40 patient made first step commitments to Christ during their clinic visit in Jargalant and Erdenet. Jargalant is the new location for church planting effort recently launched by Rev. Peter and Esther Yim.

They also brought many needed medications and supplies for our CAMA Health Project. We give praise and thanks to the Lord for the hard and faithful work done by the team members and the fruitful labor the Lord gave. We really appreciate their love for the Mongolian people, and their generous giving to the work in Mongolia.
